One of the first beers to roll off of our new canning line was a very special release. In mid November of 2017 we collaborated with our friend, Mitch Steele of New Realm Brewing in Atlanta, GA on a Double Black IPA we call Northern Nights.
With its obviously dark color, Northern Nights is a twist on the traditional Double IPA. Incorporating the best qualities of a dark beer and a fruity IPA, this blend gives Northern Nights the perfect balance of dark malt flavors and fruity hop character.
Savor this beer. As you progress through the pint, the berry like aroma from the blend of Falconers Flight, Amarillo, and Chinook hops intensifies. The flavor transforms from a roasted malt and coffee flavor, to a raw dark chocolate and dark fruit character.
At 8.2% abv and dark in color, Northern Nights is in fact dry and easy drinking – making it the perfect beer to sip on a cold winter’s night.
Kettle Hops – Cascade, Amarillo
Dry Hops – Falconers Flight, Amarillo, Chinook
