New Hampshire breweries Great North Aleworks, Woodstock Inn Brewery, Moat Mountain Brewing Company, Smuttynose Brewing Company and Great Rhythm Brewing Company have collaborated on a new beer in order to support the New Hampshire Hospitality Employee Relief Fund (NHHERF).
These beers were once brewed and enjoyed, but not forgotten.
Cerveza de Leche (Milk Beer) starts as a traditional milk stout brewed with lactose (aka milk sugar). The lactose gives this stout a creamy body, and just a touch of sweetness. We also use a blend of pale malt, chocolate malt, and roasted malt for that signature stout flavor and appearance.
Founded in January 1991, Brew Free or Die (BFD) is New Hampshire’s first and longest running homebrew club. BFD25 is a barleywine-style ale that celebrates the club’s 25th Anniversary. In collaboration with BFD members, this beer was brewed with 25 different ingredients and had an original gravity of 25˚ plato.
