Barrel Aged Russian Imperial Stout

Black Bear is our first ever barrel-aged Russian Imperial Stout.  This beer was brewed in January 2017 and spent 12 months maturing in Jim Beam bourbon barrels.  The result is a smooth, complex, and luscious beer that clocks-in at just under 10% ABV. Highly drinkable now, but also perfect for cellar aging – we can’t wait to see how the flavors of this RIS evolve over time!
